Fingers as part of our body and being a part of our limbs, they have strong flexibility and playing an important role of the ability of human body. By exploring erasure, I asked my friend to tie up my fingers on both hands and wrap with sticky tape so that my finger could not bend or work separately. Within this situation, I try to approach to certain work that fingers are highly engaged and see what may come out.
First, I try to type the definition of fingers I search on Wikipedia with my erased fingers. It is pretty hard to get the letters right even if I type slowly.
Then I turn to play Ukulele and the sound was awful. The photos and video clip are all documented with the help of my friend because I cannot even pick up my phone or my camera.

World is filled with colour, wondering how the world will be like if there is no colour in it, everything will be black and white, like an old film, or we can’t even recognise the colour ‘black’ and ‘white’. I want to experience the disability of colour, so I put on my sunglasses and see what it is like to look at colourful things, but not much happen, just the brightness has decreased. So I put on another pair of sunglasses and found the saturation is lot more decreased and I could see a world with weaker colour, and almost black and white.
With two pairs of sunglasses I try to paint the artificial flowers I have in my room and see if I could get the colour right. However, the result is not that obvious, I can still distinguish the colour but some parts of the object I can only tell that it is black. The whole experiment is very limiting my sight and erases as much sense of colour as it could, and a very engaging process.
Since things are going flatter and thinner, especially technology device, and the world we are receiving information and understanding from is more from just a flat screen, in another word, world is becoming two dimensional. So, I have come up with an idea of making objects from everyday life flat in order to erase the sense of living in a three dimensional space and the awareness of space.
For the first experiment, I have drawn the objects on a piece of paper and try to make it more similar to the original one, but to enhance the difference between 2D world and 3D world.
The second experiment I basically squashed the objects I have chosen and made them flat and more two dimensional.
